We say we believe in His Word. We say it is our truth. But imagine for a minute if we truly, whole-heartedly, without any doubt or reservations took His words as absolute complete truth. Imagine if we actually believed what He says. We’d believe Him when He says that total trust in Him brings supernatural peace. We’d love people even when it was difficult, and wouldn’t let chaos in this world shake us. We’d live our lives differently. Our joy would be constant, and our lives would be a walking testament to His truth.

I think the most Gemini thing my dad has ever done is one year he threw himself a reverse surprise party for the sheer drama of it. What is a reverse surprise party? you may ask, well let me tell you. So he invites over all his friends and family and then in the middle of dinner he stands up and announces that it’s not a regular dinner, it is in fact, his birthday dinner (his exact words were “Surprise! …. it’s my Birthday”) cue everyone looking panicked, because oh god I don’t have a gift, I don’t even have a card, but my father, wine glass still in hand assures them not to worry and reveals a pile of presents he got for himself and wrapped for everyone to pick one and give it to him as their gift. And honestly? My father is such a legend.

one thing i really love about psych is that all the characters have relationships with each other like the main romance in the show is shules but its about so much MORE than shules gus and shawn have one of thr strongest friendships i’ve ever seen and juliet and lassiter have a strong partnership and juliet and gus have a strong friendship and shawn and lassiter develop a strong friendship and gus and lassiter have a strong friendship and karen and henry have a strong friendship with each other and build relationships with everyone else hell even abigail becomes friends with gus and juliet and just everyone loves each other and i just love that the most important thing in the show isnt romance and they took their time to develop each of these relationships and god i just love psych thanks for coming to my ted talk
